Beach Themed Christmas Decorations That All Coastal Lovers Will Enjoy
By Debby Banning
If you live in a sunny climate or just love the beach in general you may decorate your house in a beach theme at Christmas. Some may think this is a little odd but those people that are passionate about warm weather love to decorate their homes with a tropical beach theme. It seems as though this trend is becoming more and more Popular.

A beach themed tree will make the perfect centerpiece to your living room this summer. It doesn’t matter if you use a real or artificial tree. You can even purchase an indoor palm tree to decorate. There are many different beach themes to choose from.

There are a variety of pink flamingo items to decorate your tree with. You can find pink flamingos with bulbs or a wreath around its neck. Bealls has an entire home section dedicated to just this theme alone.

Macy’s offers a beach themed Santa Clause that is a very Popular theme. They have figurines, tree ornaments, free standing items, blow ups for your yard, dishes, and many other assorted items that will add the perfect attention to detail to your home. You can find Beach Santa figurines of Santa under a palm tree, lying in float

in the pool, sipping on a drink, or laying in a hammock.

A variety of tropical fish and reef ornaments can make for a cute fish themed tree. Nemo is a Popular ornament for the kids and they are sure to love a Nemo themed tree in their home.

Large starfish and sand dollars placed in the tree on branches makes them stand out and your guest will realize that you have a beach themed tree from across the room.

Another favorite would be a surfer theme. There are a variety of different size and color surfboard ornaments that you can choose from. You can place strands of surfboard lights around your tree by themselves for mixed in with the “regular” strand of lights.

Flip flop ornaments, tree lights, tree skirt, and other little items would be cute for a true beach bum at heart. There is no rhyme or reason you can mix and match all of these items. There is no rule that you have to stick with a “theme”. Anything in the beach theme is going to look good. It just depends on the look that you are trying to achieve.
