Do You Post Christmas Cards To Your Friends And Family ?

I remember when I was just a young child the living room piano was full of cards. I was filled with delight. Now. The week after Thanksgiving, the cards start arriving. I enjoy displaying cards all throughout December. I pin them to red ribbons and they hang everywhere. The number of cards I receive usually increases by a couple every year. I currently send out about seventy five three cards to family and friends and receive about sixty.

I like cards because they seem to come from all points over the globe. Over the years I have made many friends and I try to include them all in my mailing of cards every year. I like to let everyone that has affected me in my life to know that I remember them and think about them.

The handmade cards are my favorite ones. Beside saving them in a large envelope with all the others from that year, I have taken a few of the super creative cards and had them framed for display. My favorite one comes from my niece. The best one featured three sparkling trees and I had it framed.

I like all cards. They are a way for friends and family to reach out to one another and let them know that they are still thought of and cared about. I don't usually display the bulk cards with plain pictures in my living room, though. I'm also not

a big fan of overly religious Christmascards. I don't put the cards with nativity scenes out in my family room.

Adding sparkles and glitter to cards look wonderful. It makes them look so special when there are extra embellishments on them. I also like to send and receive cards with personal notes inside. Good news from old friends are always welcome. cards with included photos also keep me feeling like I am part of my friends' lives.

I encourage my children to send out their own cards to their friends. Even if their friends do not send one back, yet, someday they will. My children design their own cards with white tags and craft items. My daughter likes using stamps and ink to make cards. My son likes to glue various shiny stuff to make his work of art.
