When you try to understand telepathy it all starts when one person transfers their thoughts and emotions to another person. The definition commonly known is that telepathy is a term for the feelings over a distance.
It is widely thought that telepathy is communication through another paralleled thought plane. It is known that most animals use some form of telepathy in communicating within their herds or with other herds of the same species. This can be done over many leagues of area and is even thought that many sea mammals communicate just this way over many depths of sea.
Many believe that ancient man inherently had this ability to communicate with each other as a necessity of survival and that some may not have lost this ability over time. Today you need to have some telepathy training to help you ‘relearn’ these powers.
What you need to understand is that telepathy isn’t some sort of crazy aberration. Instead, it’s something that we should recognize just as we would when coming across a person with speech issues. While we classify this as a disability, it should be the same scenario for someone who cannot utilize their telepathic power. Unfortunately it’s not, but hopefully in the near future it will be.
Long ago, humans thought that telepathy is one of our natural abilities. But it was considered as one of the natural senses of every human being. Mental telepathy was then believed to be the sixth sense.
Would you believe that telepathy is linked to your sixth sense? Well it is and you may hear some refer to it as the third eye. Whatever name you have for it, telepathy should just come to be second nature.
There are times we feel that someone is staring at us which may be true most of the time, or we feel strange feelings about the persons closest to us which also come out true at times. Some people even get a feeling that something is going to happen or that someone would call or visit all of a sudden after being thought of. As it may be common to mothers to feel strange when her child is in danger, it may be common to other persons as well. These are the simple forms of telepathy.
Telepathy nowadays may have been ignored perhaps because of the religious philosophies. Since most of the religious beliefs do not accept the philosophy of telepathy, its existence was not given much importance. Most religions would even associate telepathy to dark powers and evil cultures which force people to refrain from developing mental communication.
It may be that as the world population grew, our need for telepathy began to wane as our survival was not dependent upon it and putting this sense on to a higher power made more sense at the time.
Do you ever wonder why this is so? A lot of it has to do with the powerful leaders of each religion. While we will say that there are true religious leaders, there are some out there that don’t want anyone else to have the power. Think of it as someone challenging you in your workplace. Do you want to acknowledge that they know more than you do? Of course not, which is why some religious officials do the same thing.
Now that we are in a modernized and technological age, most of the scholars and scientist would just laugh about telepathy because they believed that this is not true sense since accessing telepathy does not need the use of the five senses. But the real philosophy of telepathy will never be important anymore to somebody who already chose to disregard telepathy as the sixth sense.
Instead you will find that we classify telepathic experiences as connections and instincts. We believe this is true only because those scientists, who try to bring the negative side to it, can’t experience it themselves. However, they’re always quick to acknowledge a strange or gut feeling as an instinct. While this wouldn’t normally be a big deal, it’s hard to understand considering these traits are just as elusive as telepathy.
There may be some who are just closed minded out of a sense of envy. Perhaps they can not nor will not believe or put their trust in to something that they can not feel, therefore they simply discount it as fallacy. If they could have the power of telepathy, they may be more open to its existence.
With regards to the forgotten telepathy, it is likened to the biblical story of the Tower of Babylon where the people failed to distinguish the language they were using. Maybe the language of telepathy was one of those.
