I’m dreaming of a white beach
just like the ones I’ve seen before
Where the palm leaves rustle
and P@ie snorkles
there is no need to hustle
I’m dreaming of a white beach
with every picture that I see
May the island be tiny + small
I sure take it easily
I’m dreaming of a white beach
just like the one I felt before
bathing and swimming
happily all day
that’s what this year will bring
I’m dreaming of a white beach
colourful memories I have
May all my dreams come true
HAPPY DREAMS to all of YOU!

There is also a snippet of "Jingle Bells" at the end, a song written in 1857 by James Lord Pierpont. "Jingle Bells" is also one of the most popular Christmas songs of all-time although Pierpont originally wrote it as a secular sleighing song initially published under the title "The One Horse Open Sleigh" in 1857 in Boston

Not as good as the original by Bing Crosby from 1942 but a good cover version. The Bing Crosby version is the biggest selling record of all time. The flippant and wacky arrangement does destroy the Christmas theme of the song, the religious context that Irving Berlin originally intended. But that does not matter. Ever since it was included in the 1990 Home Alone movie, this forgotten and obscure version of the song has taken off. That is called strategic product placement.

I grew up listening to this song every year on my grandmother’s old record player, but ever since Home Alone I can’t hear this song without thinking of little Kevin putting on the aftershave lotion and screaming.
