The reality TV star said he ‘liked me some Trump’ after the Republican presidential candidate called him up to the stage at the Oklahoma State Fair. Trump had earlier said he was fed up of people saying ‘happy holidays’ instead of ‘merry Christmas’ and insisted this would change if he comes to power. Scroll down for video Just minutes after taking to the platform in Oklahoma City, Trump called Robertson up with him, asking if he ‘loved Trump’. Willie said: ‘I do like me some Trump, I gotta admit. ‘Here’s the deal. We’re both successful businessmen. We both have pretty big shows on television. We both have wives that are 1,000 times better looking than us, so I like Trump.’ Trump, speaking earlier on Friday in Washington, DC, held aloft a personal copy of the Holy Book, which had a note in from his mother, as well as the address of his boyhood home. He said: ‘I love Christmas. I love Christmas. But you see “Happy Holidays” all over.’ ‘I wanna see “Christmas”. Other people can have their holidays, but Christmas is Christmas. ‘I’m for seeing “Merry Christmas.” Remember the expression “Merry Christmas”? You don’t see it anymore. ‘You’re going to see it if I get elected, I can tell you.’ Trump later told supporters at the Oklahoma State Fair his trademark line – that ‘we are going to make our country great again’. He said America would have to get used to ‘winning’ again if he took office following next year’s election. ‘Our country doesn’t have victories any more. We don’t win. we don’t win at anything. We don’t win with ISIS. We don’t win with China, Japan, Mexico – We don’t win with anybody,’ Trump said. ‘And we are going to start winning so much that you’re going to get sick and tired of winning. You’re going to get bored of winning.’ The Republican front runner also spoke of why he decided to run for the party’s nomination, saying it had been painful to watch John McCain and Mitt Romney lose to President Obama in previous years. ‘We have many difficulties. Our biggest difficulty is our politicians who are all talk and no action. They keep working they just want one thing: they want their job renewed every two or four years. ‘Mitt Romney let us down. Something happened to him in the last month. He choked, like a golfer he couldn’t sink that last putt. Something happened to him. That was an election that should’ve been won. ‘I backed him. He lost. So I said this time i’m doing it myself.’ Trump added that he still plans to build a wall along the Mexican border, but said there would be a ‘door’ open to some immigrants. He said: ‘Mexico… I love Mexico – I love the Mexican people, thousands of them work for me – but we’ve gotta build a wall on the border. We’re gonna build a wall and we’re gonna have a door in the wall where people who wanna come in can come in legally.’

No we do not want Christmas songs, goods or fairy lights in September, or October, or even November. Christmas is on 25 December and that’s where it should stay. Yet, while it is far too early for celebration, it’s never too early for preparation. Many of the key Christmas must-dos to save money only work if you do them early enough. So now we…
