been at school all day and you're just like losing it? That's what's happening
in my head right now. Today I thought it'd be cool
to do Amazon gift finder. I'm trying to buy gifts for other people with this Amazon suggested thing. (bright music) So on this page, you put
a gender or age group and then it like, suggests
a whole bunch of gifts that they think would be
good for that category.
They have like, even further it's like, funny, tech and gadgets, I
mean there's a bunch of stuff. But to mix it up a little bit, I'm not going to picking,
I'm going to be using a number generator and choose which one on that page that I actually buy and see if it's actually a good product. Some of the stuff on here is interesting. Okay, so to start,
let's just go team girl. Let's see if they have something
a teen girl would want.
So, generate one to 100, let's say 50. Have to count 50 now. So I they're in groups of four. Four times 12 is 48, I think. Oh, it is right. Okay, so that's the closest thing. All right, so we're gonna
count 12 and then plus two. One, two, three, four,
five, eleven, twelve. Okay, so this is 48, 49, 50. Okay this is what we got. Actually, okay so I have
something just like this, I actually wore it yesterday. It's called Women's Cozy Tartan, anybody know what a tartan is? Tartan Blanket. It can be a classic drape, a shawl, a belted poncho, an infinity scarf, and handkerchief, or a side handkerchief. So, I don't know what most
the differences of that are, but I'd probably just use
it as like a, like that. Whatever that is right there. I'm going to pick the color that I want. There's so many options. (blip) Let's just go with the
original one that it picked. This one. (laughs) 92% of people said it fits as expected, so feeling pretty confident in this.
So, gonna put that in my cart. Who do we want to narrow
it down to this time? Okay, I'm going to shop for my dad and I'm actually, I think
I'm gonna put funny, just because he always gets gag gifts. So, all right our number is, I'm just gonna keep
mixing, and stop, okay. Seven. One, that's four, seven. Oh wait, that's actually kind of cool. So it's sushi sock,
but it looks like sushi but it's socks, like that's a cute idea. That's a good gift, my dad
would actually like that. It has four-and-a-half out of five stars. Pretty good. Okay, so we're gonna add that to cart. Okay, moving on to the next person.
Okay, let's do Brooklyn. Let's do tech and gadgets. That seems like something
Brooklyn would like, right? Okay, our number is
46, that's gonna be 12, no, 11 plus two. You're really just seeing my
horrible math skills right now, that's all that this is. (laughs) 11 plus two. What is this? I am no paying that much. I am not paying 700 dollars, sorry. I love how all the other ones too, are like, 20 bucks. All right, our number is 20. I know that math, it's five. One, two, three, four, five. What is this? LED Glove Finger Light
Toys with lights for party. What is the point of this? That's Brooklyn's Christmas gift, I guess. Rylan is next. So Rylan is a girl, fashion and accessory, beauty and makeup, unique,
pop-culture, inspirational. Okay, generate, 71. That's going to be 17 plus three. Natures Blossom Bonsai Tree, okay that's actually kinda cool. Rylan might be into this, I don't know.
It can grow herbal tea, pumpkins, bonsai, exotic vegetables. I feel like the one that'll
grow the best is the succulent . Okay, add to cart. She's a kid, eight to 12. Oh, she's in the older kid group now. You know what? Let's just leave it open
'cause she likes everything. I accidentally pressed that, okay. Four, so that's 10 plus one. Seven, eight, nine, 10 plus one. (laughs) What is this? Remote Control Car and
it can drive over rocks, I think but I'm not sure
Paisley would really like this.

really hard to shop for. All right five, that's easy enough. So four, five. (laughs) my mom would not like these. (laughs) but, we're gonna get get theM anyway because this is what Amazon
told me to get so, sure. Add to cart. Okay, we are done. Those are our items, so you're gonna wait for them to get here, should
get here in a couple days because all them are Prime. We'll see. (upbeat music) All right, so it has been
about a week since I ordered and I finally have them all in the mail.
So I'm gonna go through
and kinda look at 'em, do my first impressions and
then we're actually gonna go downstairs and give them
to their actual people. All right, so to start, this
one's first from the top. This is our sow and grow seed starter kit. This is the one that I ordered for Rylan. I feel like we have pretty similar taste, so if I like this then
Rylan would like it. Okay so you have a couple
different pots, I guess. Some fertilizer, looks
like these are your seeds.
Something else, I don't know what that is. You also get a chance to win a prize. You're feelin lucky. Everything looks pretty nicely labeled. It's a solid product. As far as if Rylan would like this, I think she definitely would. She's really into succulents
and this is a succulent. But yeah, this is something
that she would like though. Okay, Daxton, no this is Paisley's right? Yeah, no this is Paisley. Paisley's totally into all kinds of stuff so Dax would totally love both of these and honestly Paisley
will love both of these. If I was only buying them for one person, not sure which one they
would rather prefer. This came a lot bigger than
I thought it was going to. I thought it was going to be a lot smaller though I was kinda shocked
when I opened the box. My moms present. This is the one I wasn't sure about. (laughs) Hoof warmers. I definitely know that my
mom truly wouldn't like this as a gift, I mean I think
if I gave the to her, she would probably like,
pretend to like them and she might do that on video.
But like if was gonna buy her something, I would not buy here these. Okay, my dad. I actually think he's gonna like this. Like this is probably the best present. It's so cute in real life too. I would enjoy this as a present. These are sushi socks. I think he's really gonna
like this actually, so. I only have one bag, so
we're just gonna take turns. So, let's start with Dax and Paisley. (children laughing) Okay, when I give it to you, you have to tell me if you like and if you would actually

have Daxton's or yours? – I'd rather have mine. – [Kamri] So they picked right. Amazon did a good job. – Yes. – [Kamri] Okay dad, I
have a present for you. You have to tell me your first impressions of the present and if you would actually like it as a present. – What in the heck, are these socks? Sushi socks? I think it's a cute gag gift. I probably wouldn't wear it. (laughs) – [Kamri] You wouldn't wear socks? Sushi socks? – I would wear socks, I just don't know, first of all, I'm not a big sushi fan.
– What, those socks are cool. – [Kamri] I think they are. I thought they were cool too. I bet you'd like this. – What's the little bottle for? – [Kamri] It's something
that comes in sushi, I don't know. I thought you would love this. You're the one always giving
us presents like that. – Yeah, but you know I don't
really love fishy things. (laughs) Cool. – [Kamri] Amazon picked
this present for you. Do you think they were accurate? – I love socks, so I give it
a half star out of one star. (laughs) – [Kamri] Okay. Okay mom, I have your present. – Okay. – [Kamri] I didn't pick this present. If I was gonna buy you
something, it would not be this 'cause I already know-
– so I already know I'm not gonna like it.
– [Kamri] (laughs) Yeah. – Based on that disclaimer, thank you. – [Kamri] I know you're not gonna like it. It's just not practical. (laughs) – Gloves. – [Kamri] No. – Gloves, it says gloves. – No, they're arm warmers,
there's no fingertips. (laughs) – Wait hang on, but they're gloves. I mean that's not practical. – [Kamri] Yeah. – Oh it has a thumb hole. Oh that's cuter.
– [Kamri] Oh there you go. – That's cuter. – [Kamri] That's a little better. – Okay, okay, so I mean I can see this. This is kinda cute. – [Kamri] But you wouldn't ever wear it. – You wouldn't wear it outside if you were worried about
your hands getting cold. (laughs) – [Kamri] I don't think
you would ever wear that. – Like if you're at your computer, yeah. If you're in the office. – [Kamri] You're such a liar. (laughs) You would never use this. So Amazon did a bad job. – But I think I'm gonna start wearing 'em and see if I can create a trend. – [Kamri] Okay. – I'm scared!
– [Kamri] Why? – What the heck? Why is this my present? What does this have anything
to do with anything? What the? (laughs) why? – [Kamri] I don't know.
I was like, oh Brooklyn might
like something technology, so I set all the settings for that and that's what it picked. – When will I ever use these? (laughs) – [Kamri] So Amazon did
a horrible job for you. – Wow, yeah. (laughs) – [Kamri] This is your present. – No. – [Kamri] I forgot like- – Oh is it just a scarf? That's cute thought! – [Kamri] It like does seven
different things or something. In the picture, that's what it said so. – Luckily, like out of
anyone in the family I would be the one to-
– [Kamri] I know, it's like was the most accurate purchase.
– Oh wow. – [Kamri] Think Amazon picked well? – Yeah I do. – [Kamri] Would you actually
like that present in real life? – I mean like, maybe
this and something else. You don't just give someone a scarf but yeah, this is great. – [Kamri] Okay, so win. – A win for me. – Okay, so overall, I
think the general consensus was it's better just to
pick your own gifts based on what you think people would like, rather than going off Amazon. It does come up with some good ideas but they weren't completely
accurate for every person. They had some good presents in there, I'm still shocked that my
dad didn't like his socks 'cause I thought that was so good. It was fun to test, but I
don't think it worked as well as it was going to, so. That could have just been
the number generator thing, like if I was just scrolling
through those pages and looking for something for Brooklyn, I probably could have found
something a lot better because I was using the number generator and it was already picked.
That kind of might have been
