The Twelve Days Of Christmas Shopping
The holidays are a time for joy, cheer, and…stress. Especially when it comes to Christmas shopping. If you're like most people, you probably start your holiday shopping with the best of intentions. You make a list, check it twice, and set out to find the perfect gifts for everyone on your list. But somewhere along the way, things start to go awry. The crowds get bigger, the lines get longer, and the perfect gifts you had in mind start to seem elusive.
**Day 1: The Overwhelmed Shopper**
You start off strong, hitting the stores early and determined to get all your shopping done in one day. But by noon, you're already feeling overwhelmed by the crowds and the endless aisles of merchandise. You start to panic and buy whatever you can find, just to get out of the store.
**Day 2: The Desperate Shopper**
You realize that you still have a lot of shopping to do, and you're starting to get desperate. You go to the mall, but it's so crowded that you can't even move. You try online shopping, but everything is sold out or backordered. You're starting to lose hope.
**Day 3: The Grinch Shopper**
You're officially over it. You've been shopping for days, and you're still not finished. You're starting to get Grinch-like and resentful. You don't want to buy anyone anything anymore.
**Day 4: The Bargain Shopper**
You've decided to change your strategy. You're going to focus on finding the best deals possible. You spend hours scouring the internet for coupons and discounts. You go to every store in town looking for sales. You're determined to get the most bang for your buck.
**Day 5: The Last-Minute Shopper**
It's Christmas Eve, and you still have a few gifts to buy. You're starting to panic. You go to the store and buy whatever you can find, even if it's not what you wanted. You're just glad to be finished.
**Day 6: The Post-Christmas Shopper**
Christmas is over, and you're exhausted. You've spent way too much money, and you're not even sure if anyone liked your gifts. You vow to never do this again.
**Day 7: The Return Shopper**
You've decided to return some of the gifts you bought. You're not sure why you bought them in the first place. You get to the store and wait in line for hours. Finally, you get to the front of the line and the cashier tells you that you can't return the gifts because you don't have the receipt.
**Day 8: The Re-Gifter**
You've given up on returning the gifts. You're just going to re-gift them to someone else. You wrap them up and put them under the tree. You're just glad to be rid of them.
**Day 9: The Overeater**
You've been eating way too much Christmas cookies and candy. You're starting to feel sick. You vow to start eating healthy again in the new year.
**Day 10: The Sleeper**
You're so exhausted from Christmas shopping that you can't even move. You sleep for 12 hours straight.
**Day 11: The Resolution Maker**
You wake up from your sleep and make a resolution to never do Christmas shopping again.
**Day 12: The Repeat Offender**
Next year, you'll probably do it all again.
